World Wide Web or WWW or simply the web, consists of millions of web sites (web site) and every web site comprises many web pages (web pages). These web pages scattered throughout the world on server computers connected to the Internet. Sites such as www.yahoo.com or www.microsoft.com is a web site that has long existed and provide numerous facilities so that the pages within this site is also very much.

Web page is a page that looks from a Web browser software. This page is like a word-processing document file, unless contained therein can be text, images and even animation. To be able to create this web page you must have knowledge of the script (script), HTML (hyper-text markup language). HTML will be discussed in greater detail in other sections in this course.
Web site consists of several interlinked web pages (linked) with one another with a certain way. Most people are still confused with this definition so that further complicates the understanding.
One of the benefits of the World Wide Web is the hyperlink. Hyperlinks are text (usually) blue and (usually) underlined that can be click and will go to other web pages. Hyperlinks are what? Placed anywhere in a web page and may be arranged to go to anywhere around the web. When you visit a web page, you can directly clicking on a hyperlink and the computer will retrieve (download) sites / pages that are linked on the hyperlink and display it in a web browser.
Typically, web site designer put a lot of hyperlinks on their site to help the visitors to the site to find other sites related to those sites. These hyperlinks can link to other sites on other servers around the world.
